Charlie Sheen hints at Two And A Half Men reboot as he reveals he wants to reprise famous Charlie Harper on Loose Women

CHARLIE Sheen has confirmed he would be open to giving Two And A Half Men the ending it deserves.

The 53-year-old actor was axed from the popular comedy show in 2011 over rumours of cocaine abuse and making derogatory comments about the series’ creator Chuck Lorre.

Charlie Sheen has confirmed he would be open to a finale in Two And A Half Men

During his Two And A Half Men heyday Sheen was the highest paid actor in television, earning $1.8million (£1.4m) an episode.

He was replaced by Ashton Kutcher after his sacking.

The show’s 12-year broadcast came to an end in 2015 not long before Sheen publically revealed that he was HIV positive.

But he is willing to reprise his character as Charlie Harper if given the opportunity.

When quizzed on Loose Women whether he would be up for a swansong, he replied: “Of course I would.

“There is a trend towards reboots these days and I think that would be one that the focus might tune in for.”

He added: “I think as long as everyone involved is alive and kicking then there definitely is a possibility.

“It doesn’t have to go on for another five years. ‘It would just be nice to do a couple of seasons and end it as it should have.”

Sheen, who has been married three times and has five children, also admitted how he was “too irresponsible” to care for his daughter.

Eight years on from his very public issues that included stints in rehab, Sheen confirmed that he has been sober for “1.4 years”.

He added: “I’ve had times in the past, every other time I was led there through intervention. The last time, I couldn’t get my daughter to an appointment she had.

“I never drink and drive. I called my buddy Tony, we got to the thing. That night I was like ‘I’m not even responsible enough for my children’s needs.’ I woke up and was like ‘today’s the day’.

“It feels awful. Some of it is very surreal to this day I’m not sure how I created such chaos and wound up in that head space. It’s as if there was some alien or demonic possession going on.

“I wish I could make a lot of it go away but they wouldn’t call it the past if it wasn’t.”
